With the 2014 Inglis Great Southern Sale over for another year, it has been a jam packed week for all at Rosemont Stud.
Firstly the week started with the news that The Wow Signal and Anthem Alexander, both from the first European crop of resident stallion Starspangledbanner created headlines at Royal Ascot, both winning Group Two events.
Then we headed to the sale where the progeny of Toorak Toff provide some highlights for the team.
The leading lot for the draft was Lot 70, a brown Toorak Toff colt out of the Quest For Fame mare Feelers, making the colt a half-brother to Lonhro’s stakes performer Tromso from the Chris Waller yard. Secured by Victoria’s Ampulla Lodge for $50,000, the colt continued the great success that the progeny of “The Toff” has been recording in the sales.
